Volunteering with BCSS

The British Columbia Schizophrenia Society and the MIND Foundation are volunteer-based organizations dedicated to helping families cope with serious mental illness.

For 25 years our dedicated volunteers have assisted us in providing support to families, educating communities about mental illness, raising funds to increase awareness and promote research into the causes of schizophrenia, and advocating for improved services for people with mental illness.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help deliver education programs, increase awareness and raise funds.

Current opportunities include:

  • Board Committee service

  • Fundraising

  • Special events

  • Office administration

  • Education and research projects
