Shuswap Language Recording – What is Schizophrenia?
This recording, voiced by Cecilia DeRose in the Shuswap language gives some basic information about what schizophrenia is, what the symptoms are and how to get help.
The translation and recordings were done as part of the SMILE project, in partnership with the BC Schizophrenia Society, William’s Lake branch, and HRSDC. They were converted to digital format as part of the Reaching Families project of BCSS on behalf of BC Partners for Mental Health and Addictions information.
