British Columbia Schizophrenia Society

The Online Family Support Group is looking for a few internet-savvy volunteers to post and respond to posts on the online support forums. These forums are moderated, but could use a few volunteers to check in on a regular basis and help respond to posts from family members.

We’re particularly looking for people from the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities to help with the separate LGTBQ Family Support forum for LGTB persons who are supporters of a friend or loved one with a mental illness.

This low-impact volunteer opportunity can be done from home and will help make our online support group great. We’re also looking for people to promote this online support group on the net. For more information please contact forum moderator Sophia Kelly at onlinesupport@bcss.org
