Kitimat - BCSS - Strengthening Families Together - 5 Sessions - Starts Sept 18
The Strengthening Families Together program will be offered in Kitimat this fall. It is an education program for families and friends of individuals who have a serious mental illness. The group is offered free of charge and will run for 5 sessions. Participants will learn about the different types of mental illnesses, medication and treatments as well as how to support their loved one. The program is offered by the British Columbia Schizophrenia Society in partnership with the Northern Health Authority.
