Campbell River - BCSS - Journey Of Recovery Family Mental Health Forum
BCSS Campbell River hosts the Family Mental Health Forum, called the Journey of Recovery,
and the HOPE awards, are part of the Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 4th -11th) yearly campaign.
Friday, October 10th, 6:45 pm, at the Eagles Hall (1999 14th Avenue, Campbell River, BC), here in Campbell River will be our first
annual presentation of the Awards. HOPE (Health, Optimism, Pride, Empowerment) Awards, will be presented to individuals who demonstrate extraordinary efforts and commitment in overcoming their
personal challenges of living with a mental illness.
Six categories have been created for the awards. They are Mentorship, Vocational/School, Citizenship/Advocacy, Recovery, Lifetime Achievement, and Celebration of Humour.
