Led by David Granirer a counselor, stand up comic and author of The Happy Neurotic. Stand Up For Mental Health teaches stand up comedy to people with mental illness. Come laugh your head off at this show that looks at the lighter side of taking meds, seeing counselors, getting diagnosed and surviving the mental health system. This show aims to reduce public stigma around mental illness and spreads a message of hope and empowerment. People with mental illness are always being told what they can’t do. In this show, they get to prove what they Can do!Admission by donation
