This is an opportunity to gain understanding in estate planning for those whose loved ones who may not be as capable of handling their affairs once they are no longer there to assist. Information on the use of discretionary trust to preserve finds, disability assistance, wills and taxation matters will be presented. Material will be provided to take with you.
This workshop will be presented by Sarah Leyshon-Hughes, Manager of Private Committee Services, Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia. Sarah has spent over 35 years in the trust industry and worked as a Wills Consultant directly assisting clients in their estate planning needs. She well understands the emotional and practical issues that persons with a
disability and their families face.
