Dr. Karlinsky will provide an historical overview of the depiction of mental health issues within the world of cinema. Various film and video clips will be utilized throughout the presentation to illustrate key points.cmha_logo.gif

KIDS IN CONTROL
offers EDUCATION and SUPPORT to children between the ages of 8 –13 who have a parent with a mental illness. 

Children learn how to cope with and understand their parents’ mental illness while learning healthy self-care tools.

All this is done in a fun and interactive setting using games and crafts with other children that share the experience having a parent with a mental illness.
