The Family Resources newsletter you've subscribed to is part of the Reaching Families Project, which is made possible by BC Partners for Mental Health and Addictions Information. It is time for our yearly survey of all the people using the Reaching Families project tools - online facilitated family support group, family calendar of support and education events and e-resource newsletters that publicize resources. Other News for Professionals:

• For those of you with mental health clients in Burnaby or New Westminster who are also parents of children aged 8-13, there is a new session of the Kids in Control program for children with parents with a mental illness starting February 17. Please click on the following link (Kids in Control) for more information including referral form.  This program is also offered in other regions. More information at www.kidsincontrol.bcss.org
• If your agency offers a support group or other resource for family and friends of persons with a mental illness in BC, please send details to onlinesupport@bcss.org  and we'll spread the word for you. We can also provide you with a piece of html to put on your website that will display our continually updated list of up to date listing of family support groups and events.
