Video not showing

If there is no video showing on the page you just viewed it could be for a few reasons:

1) You might be using an older version of Internet Explorer (6,7,8), which sometimes has issues with both of the two video streaming technologies being used. If you can upgrade your browser, that will likely solve the problem. [To upgrade, go into the help menu, select ‘about internet explorer’ and look for an upgrade button. If an upgrade is available for your operating system, it will likely be there.]
2) You on a computer or network with security controls that don’t allow this type of streaming video.

How to fix it:
For the internet explorer issue, the easiest thing is to upgrade internet explorer as above. IF that’s not possible, the next easiest thing to do is to install the Chrome browser and use that to view this video.

If you are already using the latest version of internet explorer, firefox or chrome and still can’t see the video, it’s possible that your firewall or other security settings are blocking the video. Your administrator may have a solution that allows you to view vimeo videos.
