Since the launch of our podcast “Look Again: Mental Illness Re-Examined,” we’ve been making waves in the field of mental health.

We’re excited to share that according to Apple’s Podcast Charts (as of May 31), the BCSS podcast has consistently been in the top 50 most popular podcasts in Canada within the Mental Health category—for a couple of weeks, we even reached #11! And in the category of Health and Fitness, it’s been in the top 150 and at one point the top 50. Not bad for our first podcast.

“Look Again: Mental Illness Re-Examined takes a close look at the reality of serious mental illness, and the role we can all play in helping those who live with it lead the most productive lives possible. This podcast will speak with medical experts, families, and people with lived experience of mental illness to dispel myths and get to the truth. Be prepared for frank conversations, up-to-date medical information, immersive sound design, and stories of hope and resilience. This podcast is for anyone whose life has been touched by mental illness. In other words, it’s for everyone.

If you haven’t listened yet, this podcast aims to humanize the impacts of schizophrenia on families and the worry and thoughts that families face and aims to highlight the importance of education and support.

Please share our podcast with your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbours. And don’t forget to subscribe, rate, and review each episode or the podcast as a whole on Apple Podcasts.
