Dolly joined the BCSS team in 2008 as the Northwest Regional Coordinator, moving into her current role as the Northwest Regional Manager in 2010.

Dolly really enjoys working with the fantastic team in the Northwest Region, which provides a variety of services and programs across the region. In her role as Regional Manager, Dolly provides her team with administrative support but from time to time still does have opportunities to provide family support. She also leads support group facilitator workshops and is a suicide awareness trainer.  In addition to this, Dolly also works on various projects and co-facilitates the Terrace Family Support Group.

Through her role as Northwest Regional Manager, Dolly sits on multiple committees collaborating with other Northwest communities of practice throughout the region. Her office is located in Terrace but Dolly works throughout the Northwest, from Houston to Haida Gwaii.

Dolly comes to BCSS with a background in counselling and a MA in leadership, with a health specialty.  In her previous work for the Northern Health Authority in Mental Health & Addictions Services, Dolly has seen the effects of mental illness on both those living with the illness and their families. Dolly is honored to be part of the BCSS team offering hope and help to families coping with mental illness.
