SUMMARY:Lower Mainland Strengthening Families Together
DESCRIPTION:This six-session program provides knowledge\, support\, and tools for families to cope better with mental illnesses. Through discussion and group exercises\, families build supportive connections with others who share similar experiences and learn how to access BCSS Family Support Groups\, services\, and other resources available across the province. \nFamilies and caregivers learn: \n\nReliable information about mental illness\, diagnosis\, and treatment options\nEffective coping and communication skills\nTools to help navigate the mental health system\, local supports\, and resources\n\nLower Mainland Strengthening Families Together (SFT):  \n\nEvery Wednesday for six weeks from April 22 to May 27\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 – 8:30 PM\nLocation: City Centre Library – 10350 University Drive\, Surrey\nFor more information or to register\, contact Kate at 604-574-1976 or frasernorth@bcss.org
