SUMMARY:Vancouver BCSS: Teens in Control Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Teens in Control Workshop – Vancouver \nBCSS will be offering a Teens in Control Workshop in Vancouver for youth ages 12 to 18 who have a family member with mental illness. The workshop is a condensed version of our Teens in Control program which provides information about mental illness\, coping strategies and self-care\, to help youth understand and cope when someone in their family has a mental illness. It is also a chance for youth to connect with peers with similar experiences in a safe environment. \nThe workshop will be 2 sessions on Tuesdays\, January 21 & 28\, 2020 from 4:00-6:00pm. It will be held at the Renfrew Community Centre at 2929 East 22nd Ave\, Vancouver. \nIf you know a child or youth who may be interested in attending\, they can be referred to the workshop using the attached referral form.
