BCSS Youth: Teens In Control (Online)

Teens in Control is a free education and support program for children ages 13 – 18  . This is offered to the youth who have a family member with mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, etc.) or a substance use disorder. It offers a supportive space for adolescents to refine healthy coping strategies, deepen their mental health awareness, and connect with peers who share similar experiences. Topics include self-care, boundary setting, communication skills and other resources.

Teens in Control (Online)

  • Every Thursdays, for eight (8) weeks, starting April 25, 2024
  • Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Note: Each session will have a different theme, and teens must attend five sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
