Haida Gwaii Family Support Group

BCSS’ Northwest Region is hosting a family support group for family or friends who have a loved one with a serious mental illness or substance use disorder.

Caring and sharing sessions may cover various topics, including:
• the benefits of supports from friends and family members in a loved ones journey of recovery
• techniques for improved communications, how to establish boundaries, ways to support recovery
• how to access community resources, self-care, and whatever else comes up.

This group will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11:00-12:00 pm at The Village Hearth Cafe & Eatery – 3200 Oceanview Drive 2nd Floor, Daajing Giids, British Columbia V0T 1S0.
