RECAP: “The Mental Health System – How Can We Fix It?” – Webinar with Dr. Richard O’Rielly

On June 20, 2023, BCSS hosted its second BCSS Members-Only Event featuring Dr. Richard O’Reilly, Professor of Psychiatry at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and Professor Emeritus at Western University.

In his presentation, Dr. O’Reilly discussed his view of the services and treatments available for people living with severe and persistent mental illness in Canada. He also discussed the many challenges faced by family members and his vision of how things can be improved in the future.
