Beyond the Diagnosis: Realities of Serious Mental Illness
A Partnership Education Presentation (PEP) in partnership with the Luther Court Society
The Vancouver Island Region of the BC Schizophrenia Society is hosting a Partnership Education Presentation (PEP) in partnership with the Luther Court Society.
- Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2026
- Time: 1:00 – 2:30 PM
- Location: Luther Court Society (Main Lounge) — 1525 Cedar Hill Cross Road, Victoria, BC
PEPs use a personal storytelling model to shed light on the reality and scope of serious mental illness and reduce stigma in our communities. A panel of three speakers — a person with lived experience of mental illness, a family member, and a BCSS staff member — share their insights and personal journeys with mental illness.
What to expect:
- Personal stories from people directly affected by mental illness
- A chance to ask questions and learn more
- A welcoming, stigma-free environment
This event is free and open to the public.
