Together We Raised Nearly $20,500 to Support Families Affected by Mental Illness

The BC Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) launched its 2nd Annual BCSS Giving Day on June 24th with the goal of raising $10,000 to reach more families affected by schizophrenia and serious mental illness.

During the campaign, a generous donor came forward with a matching pledge up to $5,000, doubling the impact!  Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the campaign raised nearly $20,500, surpassing our goal.

  • Vital support programming and services for families and youth  
  • Education and resources to help navigate the healthcare system 

For many families, BCSS is the first place that has helped them make sense of what they’re going through. Because of you, you are helping parents, spouses, siblings, and loved ones find the support and hope they’ve been looking for.
