We’re excited to announce that the BC Schizophrenia Society’s 2024 Annual General Meeting & Education Session will take place next month on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort (10251 St Edwards Dr, Richmond, BC).
As a hybrid event, participants can attend in person or virtually. For those attending in person, the event will be held at the Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort. Virtual attendees can join us via Zoom.

This year’s event will be a thought-provoking and inspiring event that brings together our community from across the province to connect, learn, and inspire one another. The Annual General Meeting and Education Session will begin with the business portion, followed by the introduction of our keynote speaker, Bethany Yeiser.
Keynote Speaker: Bethany Yeiser
Bethany Yeiser will speak about her journey with schizophrenia, homelessness, and recovery. She is the President of the CURESZ Foundation, co-founded with Dr. Henry Nasrallah in 2016. CURESZ stands for Comprehensive Understanding via Research and Education into Schizophrenia. Bethany is a motivational speaker, TEDx presenter, and author of Mind Estranged: My Journey from Schizophrenia and Homelessness to Recovery. We are very grateful to have her and her expertise with us this year.
